PDX, OrderInsite partner on inventory integration

FORT WORTH, Texas — Pharmacy technology company PDX announced Monday a new partnership with prescription drug inventory solutions company OrderInsite. The new collaboration will offer users of the company’s PDX Classic and PDX Enterprise Pharmacy System a way to integrate them with inventory management applications.  

“PDX is excited to partner with OrderInsite to provide our common customers with their tools to maximize inventory potential inside PDX applications,” PDX CIO Todd Crosslin said. “We look forward to this collaboration to bring future capabilities to our customers.”

OrderInsite’s software can calculate exact order amounts and can predict the best reorder points to ensure optimal inventory levels. The company’s applications can also take note of inventory that’s overstocked and optimize returns, among other features.
