Pfizer takes on two Wyeth board members

NEW YORK A major drug maker is shifting two board members from to its company upon the closing of its pending acquisition of another company.

Pfizer announced that Frances D. Fergusson and John P. Mascotte will officially join its board of directors Friday. The two are current members of Wyeth's board of directors, Pfizer said.

Fergusson has been the director of Mattel since 2006. Mascotte is the retired president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas City, in which capacity he served between 1997 and 2001.
