Primus launches campaign for Fosteum

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. In connection with World Osteoporsis Day on Oct. 20, Primus Pharmaceuticals is launching an ad campaign about its first prescription medical food product, Fosteum.

The drug treats the underlying metabolic cause, not just symptoms of osteopenia and osteoporosis. It’s the only product to increase bone density and it has also been shown to manage hot flashes in peri- and post-meopausal women.

A recent clinical study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine reported that over 85 percent of the women in the study taking genistein (the active ingredient in Fosteum) along with calcium and vitamin D showed an impressive gain in bone density.
