QS/1 launches WebConnect 5.0

4/20/2016

SPARTANBURG, S. C. — Pharmacy technology solutions company QS/1 on Wednesday announced the launch of the latest version of its facility-to-pharmacy communication tool, WebConnect 5.0. The new version features tools that can help long-term care (LTC) facilities access patient information and quickly order prescription refills.

“QS/1’s ‘bring your own device’ philosophy allows LTC facilities to use any tablet or smartphone with Internet access to utilize WebConnect 5.0,” QS/1 WebConnect market analyst Kevin Sloan said. “LTC facilities told us they wanted an option to use a wide variety of less expensive tablets. QS/1 listened and included that in the new WebConnect.”

WebConnect 5.0, which the company designed to optimize user-friendliness for LTC facility staff, is able to run on iOS and Android devices. It can also be used to allow LTC facility staff to print electronic prescriptions without interrupting pharmacy workflow

“It’s faster and straightforward,” Sloan said. “WebConnect 5.0 can save time, improve customer service and increase productivity. The streamlined layout makes WebConnect 5.0 the must have tool inside the LTC facility.”
