The Quantum Group offers e-prescriptions function to providers

WELLINGTON, Fla. A software program that allows healthcare providers to earn money through Medicare reimbursements by e-prescribing has become available.

The Quantum Group said providers can use its Personal Wellness electronic Record platform's e-prescriptions function to get extra money from Medicare reimbursements. Medicare began the 2009 e-Prescribing Incentive Program this month. 

"We believe PWeR is a 21st century model for healthcare, leveraging the existing structures for managed care with a lower-cost, more effective platform integrated with services supported by world-class technology," Quantum SVP and chief technology and innovations officer Pete Martinez said in a statement.
