Rite Aid offers assistance with Medicare PDP selection
Rite Aid on Tuesday announced that through Dec. 7, its pharmacies would be offering Medicare-eligible patients free resources to help them select the best prescription drug plan or update existing coverage for the coming year.
In addition to being able to access the in-store resources, Rite Aid said it had made the Medicare Advisor comparison tool available through its website in order to compare the three lowest-cost PDPs based on their current prescriptions.
“Choosing the right prescription drug plan is an important decision for our senior customers, and we’re pleased to be offering free resources through the Medicare Advisor tool that will help Medicare beneficiaries select the best plan for their individual needs,” said Jocelyn Konrad, Rite Aid executive vice president of pharmacy. “As always, our Rite Aid pharmacists are available to meet with customers to review their reports and answer any questions they may have as they make this important decision.”
