Rogerson, Steele promoted at Watson


MORRISTOWN, N.J. Watson Pharmaceuticals has announced the promotions of Rick Rogerson to director of pricing and Hillary Steele to senior manager, marketing materials.

Rogerson joined Watson in 2002 as the manager of pricing and was promoted in 2005 to senior manager of pricing. In his new role, he manages the pricing function and business practices for all generic prescriptions and over-the-counter products. He is also responsible for determining the best prices for new products and appropriate price adjustments to help benefit the most from the price/volume relationship of existing products as well as managing third party price relationships. Rogerson worked for Geneva Pharmaceuticals, the generic division of Novartis, prior to joining Watson. He held several roles, including quality assurance, marketing analyst and manager of pricing.

Steele joined Watson in 2004 as a promotional planner and was promoted to manager of marketing materials in 2005. She is responsible for the generic prescription and OTC promotional budgets and strategies including ad and literature development and also manages event and trade show planning.
