Rx30, Creative Pharmacist announce clinical services platform partnership

8/4/2017

OCOEE, Fla. — Pharmacy management software company Rx30 and Creative Pharmacist, maker of the STRAND eCare platform, have partnered to help pharmacies elevate their clinical services.

The partnership will bring the Pharmacist eCare Plan to pharmacies using Rx30 through the STRAND platform, which allows pharmacies to develop a Pharmacist eCare Plan, which collects a patient’s medication regimen and health concerns. The plan also includes drug therapy problems and medication support needs, as well as the pharmacy’s past interventions and the patient’s health outcomes over time.

“Rx30 is extremely pleased to partner with Creative Pharmacist, the innovative leader in driving advanced clinical pharmacy services for independent pharmacy,” Rx30 president and CEO Steve Wubker said. “Our partnership greatly expands our mutual commitment to position independent pharmacy at the critical center of patient care. Creative Pharmacist has done a tremendous job of creating a user-friendly, pharmacist driven clinical services application within the workflow of pharmacy and we look forward to working together as the innovative leaders in developing true coordinated patient care. Creative Pharmacist is simply a great fit and addition to the Rx30 suite of solutions.”

Rx30 customers will allow pharmacists to document, communicate, and bill for the clinical services they provide, including diabetes education, chronic care management, and A1c testing. Pharmacists using the STRAND platform have complete access to individualized education modules, intervention management, and patient-facing support resources, the companies said.

"Today's healthcare market is full of challenges and opportunities for pharmacists. Their role as clinicians is expanding quickly," Creative Pharmacist co-founder and chief of innovation David Pope said. "We are excited about our partnership with Rx30 and Computer-Rx and are poised to help their customers expand their clinical capabilities."
