FORT WORTH, Texas. — Community Healthcare Network announced Monday that it had chosen Availity’s to provide medical claim billing services for  its Care Rx clinical services platform. Care Rx subscribers will now be able to bill medication therapy management (MTM) services as medical claims on a health plan level using X12 claim billing. 


“Our entire team at CHN is thrilled to be working with such a great leadership team [at Availity] to be able to bring the advantages of medical billing services and eligibility to pharmacy,” CHN’s VP client relations, Cherrie Cannon, said. “Our work will be a continuous effort to ensure a seamless collaboration for both the users implementing Care Rx with Availity’s integrated medical claims services and for the processes that support the delivery of the services. The company said that there would be additional functionality aimed at supporting immunization services and processes added later this fall, and that the next Care Rx release would allow for end-to-end processes for administering immunizations and other clinical programs.
