Sandoz offers generic Augmentin

PRINCETON, N.J. Sandoz has added a new product to its line of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium oral suspensions, a generic equivalent to Augmentin ES-600.

Amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium is used to treat bacterial infections. The company is marketing its newest generic in a 600 mg/42.9 mg per 5 ml strength. Sandoz also markets the suspension in 200 mg/28.5 mg per 5 ml and 400 mg/57mg per 5 ml.
