Simulations Plus signs multi-year deal with major pharma company

12/12/2007

LANCASTER, Calif. Simulations Plus, a provider of software for pharmaceutical and biotechnology discovery and development, has announced that a top three pharmaceutical company has issued a purchase order to renew its global software license and to convert from a single-year license to a multi-year license. Which company, however, was not identified in its preliminary statement.

Ron Creeley, vice president of marketing and sales for Simulations Plus, said: “I’m doubly pleased with the multi-year license renewal this client provided Simulations Plus. In the past, this organization renewed its licenses one year at a time. This multi-year, multi-site renewal commitment confirms that this large and important pharmaceutical company has embraced our technology to an extent that ensures its use by their research scientists for another three years. Furthermore, since our experience is that long-term relationships, such as this, increase our ability to grow sales with a client, I expect this renewal will enhance our revenue potential with this company.”
