Sun Pharmaceutical Industries extends another offer to acquire Taro

MUMBAI, India Sun Pharmaceutical Industries hasn’t given up on its effort to take over Taro Pharmaceutical Industries.

Sun announced Friday that it had extended its offer to acquire Israel-based Taro until 5 p.m. EST on March 20.

Sun’s offer to acquire Taro through subsidiary Alkaloida Chemical Company Exclusive Group has been ongoing since June 30.
