Take Care extends walk-in clinic network in Philadelphia area

CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. Take Care Health Systems, which is owned by Walgreens, has opened a retail-based clinic in the greater Philadelphia area.

The company now has 15 clinics in Pennsylvania, including three in the Philadelphia area and 12 in Pittsburgh, as well as two in New Jersey and one in Delaware.

“We are thrilled to now provide all individuals in the area in the same high-quality, affordable health care that nearly one million patients in cities nationwide have already embraced,” said Hal Rosenbluth, co-founder and chairman of Take Care Health Systems and president of Walgreens Health and Wellness division. “It is an honor to give back to this great city by expanding our health care model to more individuals and focusing on the growth of our headquarters in Conshohocken.”

Take Care currently manages 298 clinics in 25 markets and 17 states.
