Take Care opens first Rockford, Ill., area clinic
ROCKFORD, Ill. Take Care Health Systems, which is owned by Walgreens, has opened its first Take Care Health Clinic at a Walgreens in the Rockford area.
Three additional clinics are expected to open in the area this year. The company now has 29 clinics in the state, including 28 in the Chicago area.
Take Care has partnered with such insurance plans as Aetna, ChoiceCare, CIGNA, Coventry, Great West Healthcare, Humana, Multiplan/PCHS and UnitedHealthcare to provide covered services to patients, in addition to accepting Medicare and Medicaid. If insured by one of these plans, patients pay their regular co-pay or coinsurance amount. For the uninsured or cash payers, prices average $59 to $74.
Take Care currently operates 171 total clinics in 18 cities throughout 14 states.
