Taro appoints new CFO

HAWTHORNE, N.Y. — Taro Pharmaceuticals has announced that it had named Mariano Balaguer as VP, CFO and chief accounting officer, effective Monday. Balaguer joins the company from his most recent post at Henry Schein, where he oversaw its finance functions to expand the investment and profitability of the group and to further the financial teams’ capabilities. 

 

Balaguer has almost 20 years’ industry experience and has worked for such companies as Novartis Consumer Health and Nestle.
