Teva introduces generic equivalent of Novartis’ Trileptal
NORTH WALES, Pa. Teva Pharmaceuticals has introduced its new drug, oxcarbazepine tablets, a generic version of Novartis’ partial seizure and epilepsy treatment drug, Trileptal.
The generic will be available in 150 mg, 300 mg and 600 mg strengths, in bottles of 100.
The brand had sales of about $690 million in the U.S. for the 12 months that ended on Sept. 30, 2007.
