Teva to launch first generic Nexium capsules
JERUSALEM — Teva Pharmaceutical Industries announced that the Food and Drug Administration approved the company’s first generic Nexium delayed-release tablets in the United States. Teva said that it plans to launch the product in the near future.
Nexium delayed-release capsules, which are marketed by AstraZeneca, had annual sales in the United States of $6 million as of November 2014, according to IMS Health data.
