Teva launches generic Diovan tabs

JERUSALEM — Teva Pharmaceutical on Tuesday announced the Food and Drug Administration approved the launch of the company's valsartan tablets, the generic version of Diovan tablets from Novartis. 

 

Diovan Tablets had annual sales in the United States of $1.8 billion as of October 2014, according to IMS data.
