Teva releases generic Coreg

NORTH WALES, Pa. Teva announced Friday that is releasing its generic version of Coreg.

Carvedilol, which is used to treat high blood pressure, will be available in the 3.125, 6.25, 12.5, and 25 mg tablet strengths, in bottles of 100.

Coreg was the 30th top-selling brand name drug in 2006.
