Wiki site focused on e-prescribing debuts

CHICAGO The Health Information and Management Systems Society announced last week the launch of a wiki site focused on e-prescribing.

HIMSS described the site, at http://himsseprescribingwiki.pbwiki.com, as a way for healthcare professionals to share information and experiences about e-prescribing, as well as general information for physicians, pharmacists and others.

“HIMSS and our E-Prescribing Task Force are excited to introduce this wiki to the healthcare and e-prescribing communities because it offers all of us a valuable tool to share our experiences and collaborate on lessons learned with e-prescribing,” task force chairwoman and New York Medical College clinical assistant professor of medicine Patricia Hale said in a statement. “The wiki is an interactive resource that will enrich and expand the knowledge of its users.”
