Zynchros introduces program to deliver formulary data to insurers, PBMs

SEATTLE Zynchros has unveiled a new program that will be used to deliver export services to health care information technology vendors. Zynchros provides technology solutions to health insurers and pharmacy benefit managers.

These services will deliver health plan formulary data for integration and use in their software applications for the benefit of health plan customers, their providers and members.

Zynchros.com users can select a certified branded export from a drop down list within the system and send their formulary data directly to their health care information technology vendor. Current certified export partners include Epocrates, a developer of clinical solutions for healthcare providers, RxHub, a national patient health information network, and DestinationRx, a leader in consumer drug comparison and purchasing technology. The Zynchros Certified Export Program is open to health care information technology vendors that require accurate formulary information.

According to Zynchros chief executive officer Marc Lilly, “By creating and certifying formulary data exports to our partners on behalf of our customers, we are actively working to support healthcare information technology initiatives, providing a greater return on our customers’ technology investment, shortening time to deployment and helping to establish Pharmacy Quality Management programs that help lead the way to digital healthcare.”
