Randob Labs acquires Bacitraycin Plus, Zinc Oxyde Plus

The company said there would be no disruption to the current supply of the brands, and that it would be building national marketing campaigns around them to drive consumer awareness and sales.

Randob Labs is adding two well-known brands to its portfolio. The Cornwall, N.Y.-based com-pany has acquired the Bacitraycin Plus line of first aid antibiotic ointment products and skin rash treatment Zinc Oxyde Plus.

Bacitraycin Plus us a single-antibiotic ointment that is often used because of its low allergen risk as compared to double and triple antibiotics. The brand has two primary products — Origi-nal Bacitraycin Plus with aloe and Bacitraycin Plus Maximum Strength with aloe and pramoxine as a topical pain reliever. 

Zinc Oxyde Plus is used as a barrier and treatment for adult rashes and chafing. It contains zinc oxide and menthol as active ingredients, as well as calamine and vitamins A and D.

Bacitraycin Plus and Zinc Oxyde Plus are accired in such retailers as Walgreens, Mei-jer, Shop Rite, Giant Foods, Stop & Shop, Food Lion and Hannaford.
