Coinstar debuts coupon-enabled kiosks at Giant Eagle
Coinstar, the Bellevue, Wash.-based maker of self-service coin-counting kiosks, is rolling out its latest innovation through Giant Eagle. Roughly 215 Giant Eagle Stores in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia now feature kiosks that can print point-of-sale shopper coupons and feature a 3D holographic ad display topper.
The holographic toppers and the coupon-generating capabilities are powered by Provision Interactive Technologies. Users of a kiosk can choose from various coupons that will be printed on a voucher, which can be redeemed during the store business. The kiosks don’t require a Coinstar coin transaction, and unlimited coupons may be printed.
