Rite Aid's MedTrakRx wins 2018 'Champion of Business' award
MedTrakRx, a pharmacy benefit manager and a division of Rite Aid's EnvisionRxOptions, was recently selected by the Kansas City Business Journal as a 2018 Champion of Business award winner. The award recognizes area businesses that excel in financial performance, innovation and community involvement.

MedTrakRx reported significant year-over-year growth and profitability over the past three years and has demonstrated innovation through the company’s care model, which optimizes the pharmacy care experience, improves plan performance for employers and delivers healthier outcomes for patients. Additionally, in response to the opioid crisis, MedTrakRx bolstered its pain management program, CareTrakRx Pain, to help promote the clinically appropriate utilization of prescription opioids.

This is the second time MedTrakRx has been honored with this award, which they received along with other recipients during the 12th annual awards luncheon on May 4 at the Intercontinental Hotel in Kansas City.
