Southeastern Grocers, Folds of Honor unveil community partnership
Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of Bi-Lo, Fresco y Más, Harveys Supermarket and Winn-Dixie, announced a new community partnership with Folds of Honor.
Together, both companies will work to celebrate America’s fallen heroes and their families, as well as provide an 11% discount on qualifying purchases to veterans and active military members on Nov. 11 — Veterans Day.
“Those who have served our country have made sacrifices that can never be fully repaid,” Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers, said. “At Southeastern Grocers, we are committed to honoring those sacrifices, and we’re very proud to partner with Folds of Honor as we honor veterans, military and military families leading up to Veterans Day.”
In addition, until Nov. 12, customers can do their part by making a donation to Folds of Honor when shopping at any Bi-Lo, Harveys Supermarket or Winn-Dixie location.
The grocer also pledged to donate $1 to the United Service Organization, or USO, for every dozen premium roses and celebrate America bouquet sold between Nov. 7 to 13.
