Walgreens Boots Alliance names finance exec
Walgreens Boots Alliance has named Heather Dixon senior vice president, global controller and chief accounting officer effective March 18. She joins Walgreens from Aetna, where she had been vice president – controller and chief accounting officer since 2017.
Dixon previously was Aetna’s assistant controller from 2016 to 2017. Before Aetna, she was vice president, assistant controller at Pepsico, and was a vice president at American Express from 2005 to 2015, in roles with increasing responsibility that focused on technical accounting, financial reporting and project delivery. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1995. During her 10 years at PwC, she was a member of the U.S. audit practice and the U.K. global capital markets group.

Dixon will report to Kehoe.
