Rite Aid names EnvisionRxOptions president
Rite Aid has new leadership at its pharmacy services and benefit subsidiary EnvisionRxOptions. The company has named Dan Robson president from his role as president of MedTrakRx, an EnvisionRxOptions subsidiary.
“Dan is a proven healthcare leader with 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience in operations, product development and revenue generation. He is a team-focused executive who puts the customer first. He also has a deep understanding of the healthcare provider-payor experience,” said Heyward Donigan, CEO, Rite Aid. “As the industry continues its evolution, Dan’s record of market vision, operational execution, as well as customer retention and revenue growth make him the ideal person to lead EnvisionRxOptions.”
Robson brings to the position more than 30 years’ experience in healthcare. Before leading MedTrakRx, Robson was a senior executive with Physicians Reference Lab, holding such roles as chief business development officer and director of sales and marketing. He began his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in physician clinic and hospital sales, and also has worked as a district business manager at Pfizer.
“I’m excited to lead EnvisionRxOptions and we are very bullish on the company’s growth potential moving forward,” said Dan Robson, president, EnvisionRxOptions. “The industry is rapidly changing, and EnvisionRxOptions offers a unique, go-forward value proposition for several key market segments. I look forward to working with leaders across our companies to define, execute and achieve our growth goals, while remaining laser-focused on the payer and member experience.”
Robson is the second leader of EnvisionRxOptions this year. In February, Rite Aid named Ben Bulkley CEO of EnvisionRxOptions, though according to his LinkedIn page, Bulkley departed the company in October.
