Rite Aid piloting COVID-19 testing site
Rite Aid is piloting a COVID-19 testing site at one of its Philadelphia locations. The testing site, located in the parking lot of a store at 7401 Ogontz Ave., opened Monday following the retailer joining the White House COVID-19 Response Working Group and it will be opened from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
Rite Aid noted that per Health and Human Services guidelines, only first responders and healthcare workers can be tested at the site, with a focus on staff who have direct contact with patients rather than those in administrative roles.
The testing will be conducted as a drive-up process, with people staying in their vehicles the entire time.
