Schnucks completes remodels at 2 Evansville locations
Schnucks is celebrating the completion of upgrades and renovations at Schnucks Green River, 3501 North Green River Road (47715) and Schnucks Evansville West, 4500 West Lloyd Expressway (47712).
Each store will host a customer appreciation event to thank customers for their patience during construction.
“Schnucks has served the Evansville community for nearly 50 years, and we remain committed to offering our dedicated customers the best grocery shopping experience possible,” said Stephen Rennels, Schnucks division manager. “We invite them to not only stop by to check out the renovations and improvements but to also join us for each store's respective customer appreciation event.”

Highlights of the Green River remodel include:
● Renovated and expanded deli and floral departments
● Renovated bakery, produce, seafood and meat departments
● Expanded dairy department
● Expanded interior aisles
● New lighting throughout the fresh area
● Electronic shelf labels throughout the store
● New e-commerce area
Customer Appreciation Event:
On Sunday, April 7, teammates at the Green River store will welcome customers with an in-store sampling event. Customers are invited to stop by, check out the store’s new enhancements and enjoy complimentary samples.
The 63,000-sq.-ft, Green River store opened in 2003 and employs 90 teammates.
Evansville West: Highlights of the Evansville West remodel include:
● Relocated deli department
● Expanded produce, bakery, meat and seafood department (now including fresh sushi)
● New energy-efficient refrigeration systems
● New lighting and ceilings throughout the fresh area
● Electronic shelf labels throughout the store
● New e-commerce area
● New acoustic ceiling tiles throughout

Customer Appreciation Event:
On Monday, April 8, teammates of the Evansville West store will host an eclipse event on the store’s parking lot as well as an in-store sampling event that will include product giveaways.
The 62,000-sq.-ft, Evansville West store opened in 1989 and employs 106 teammates.
Schnucks began serving the Evansville community in 1977 and operates six stores in the area and a seventh Indiana store in Jasper. In total, the seven stores employ 673 teammates.
