Southeastern Grocers debuts new Winn-Dixie stores in Florida

Southeastern Grocers is bringing not one, but four new Winn-Dixie stores to those in the Sunshine State.

Designed with a specialized approach to provide shoppers with a unique experience, the stores will be located in Boynton Beach, Jacksonville, Lakewood Ranch and Gainseville, Fla.

Each store is set to carry fresh produce, high quality meats and seafood, signature categories, and an expanded sip and shop offering, the retailer said.

“At Southeastern Grocers, we are committed to providing an exceptional shopping experience for all of our customers, and we are proud to soon introduce four new Winn-Dixie stores crafted with offerings for our customers’ distinct tastes and preferences,” Anthony Hucker, president and CEO of Southeastern Grocers, said. “We’ve expanded our product assortments in these new stores to ensure our customers have fresh, quality products at the right price for every meal. As we expand our footprint, we are able to support more communities throughout Florida and be the grocer our customers and communities can always count on.”

Additionally, to comply with COVID-19 safety precautions, the grand opening celebrations for the stores will include a small ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 11.

Other amenities offered by each of the locations will include farm-fresh produce departments, grab-and-go meal options, a full-service deli meat department, a new seafood department and its grocery delivery services through its e-commerce partners.
