Strides Pharma obtains FDA nod for generic Fioricet 

The Food and Drug Administration has cleared Strides Pharma’s butalbital, acetaminophen, caffeine, and codeine phosphate capsules.

Strides' product is a generic of Teva’s Fioricet with Codeine capsules, 50 mg/325 mg/40 mg/30 mg. It is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of complex tension (or muscle contraction) headache.

The product has a market value of roughly $10 million, according to IQVIA May 2020 data.
