Sun Pharma releases generic Protonix

Sun Pharmaceutical is introducing delayed-release pantoprazole oral suspension in a dosage strength of 40 mg.

The product is the first generic of Pfizer’s Protonix oral delayed-release suspension 40 mg.

The Protonix brand had a market value of approximately $43 million for the last 12 months ended June 2020, according to IQVIA.
