Target prioritizes safety measures at new store openings
Although the state of the world has changed dramatically since the beginning of COVID-19, Target has been able to prioritize shopper safety with the opening of not just one, but 30 new locations across the nation.
The retailer opened stores this year in Las Vegas, Manhattan and on Los Angeles’ Sunset Boulevard.
These news stores not only abide by the ongoing safety measures in effect, but also allow guests to physically browse the aisle or pick up what they need via its Order Pickup or Drive Up services, the company said.
Hand sanitizer stations, plexiglass checkout shields and signage are featured throughout the stores to aid in social distancing, as well as an assortment of products that reflect the community of each store’s location.
Additionally, each store also features various aspects that make them distinct, including a one-of-a-kind mural created by local artist Bailey Sullivan at the Target in Hell’s Kitchen, a Las Vegas showcase in its Nevada location, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the new Los Angeles brick-and-mortar, the company said.
