Target has been slowly laying out the ways in which it is going to accommodate shoppers and employees this holiday season.

Recently, the retailer shared how it will be adding new features to several of its fulfillment services, including Order Pickup, Drive Up and Same-Day Delivery with Shipt.

To kick things off, Target revealed that in order to help consumers access the items they need when they need them, there would be no pickup window or membership fee required on any of the three services mentioned above.

Most orders will be delivered or ready for pickup in just a few hours, and the number of Drive Up spaces will be doubled, the company said.

In addition, consumers will be able to pick which store their designated Shipt member shops at for a personalized experience.

For those who forget to add an item or two to their Pickup or Drive Up orders, via the Target app, shoppers will be able to select the "Forgot something?" button, find the item and add it to the just-placed order, the company said.

Target also revealed that it will be adding a Shopping Partner tool so a friend or family member can grab an order. A pickup person can be added and saved onto the account, and the designated person will receive an email alert of the items being picked up.
