Target’s doors to be closed on Thanksgiving Day
To celebrate the holiday season, Target is looking to implement some changes to the way it usually does things.
For starters, the retailer’s doors will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26.
In addition, beginning in October, Target will make its holiday season deals available to consumers both in-store and online much earlier than usual.
“The investments we’ve made in our business and our incredible team have enabled us to move with flexibility and speed to meet guests’ changing needs during this global pandemic,” Target CEO Brian Cornell said. “This year more than ever, a joyful holiday will be inseparable from a safe one, and we’re continuing to adjust our plans to deliver ease, value and the joy of the season in a way that only Target can.”
Shoppers also will have the opportunity to shop more than 20,000 products, including fresh and frozen groceries, through the retailer’s pickup or delivery services for any last-minute holiday meals, the company said.
