Upsher-Smith launches generic Kapvay

Upsher-Smith is offering a new generic with the launch of clonidine hydrochloride extended-release tablets in a 0.1 mg dosage strength. It is avalable in a 60-count bottle.  

The product is the generic of Concordia’s Kapvay (clonidine hydrochloride) ER tablets.

Clonidine hydrochloride ER tablets had a market value of approximately $30 million for the 12 months ended November 2019, according to IQVIA.
