The Vitamin Shoppe is looking to make its stores and website a go-to place for CBD. The retailer is introducing CBD HQ, an online and in-store destination at Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements locations for CBD hemp extract wellness offerings.
Currently, CBD HQ offers more than 20 brands — including Garden of Life, Charlotte’s Web, Irwin Naturals, Uncle Bud’s and SoulSpring, among others that have been top-sellers, as well as newcomers Papa & Barkley and Hydrocanna. Available forms of CBD include liquid tinctures, capsules, gummies, beverages, topicals and beauty formulas. The company’s CBD offerings have grown since it first launched CBD products in April 2019.
"The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements stores are proud to be the premier destinations for trusted CBD hemp extract products. We were the first national retailer to offer a broad selection of ingestible CBD products and our new CBD HQ concept is the next evolution of our commitment to this thriving, innovative wellness category. Driven by strong word-of-mouth, personal testimonials and self-directed consumer research, we are seeing robust interest in CBD from our customers. To meet that demand, The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements continues to expand our industry-leading assortment of CBD products in trusted formulations that meet our exacting standards of quality."
The company said that in-store associates will be able to provide expert product information for customers looking for info and guidance about CBD hemp extract.
CBD HQ has been rolled out to 572 stores across The Vitamin Shoppe and Super Supplements in 39 states and Washington, D.C., as well as Puerto Rico. Another 150 stores have a focused assortment of beauty and topical CBD products.
