Walgreens expands digital vision care offerings with For Eyes partnership

Walgreens is entering a new partnership with optical chain For Eyes to grow its online resources for customers. The companies have launched a co-branded website, For Eyes at Walgreens, which carries an assortment of frames from various big brands, as well as in-house exclusive brands that focus on quality and affordable pricing.

“Collaborating with For Eyes to offer prescription eyeglasses online allows Walgreens to deliver upon our company’s goal to be a one-stop destination for healthcare through a seamless, integrated customer experience in-store and digitally,” said Giovanni Monti, senior vice president for healthcare services at Walgreens Boots Alliance “For Eyes shares our dedication to providing high quality and affordable vision care in the communities we serve.”

The new website builds on an existing partnership between Walgreens and For Eyes, who partnered last November to launch 10 optical service centers in the Chicago metro area. For Eyes currently has more than 100 locations in 11 states and Puerto Rico.

As part of the site’s launch, the companies are offering an introductory discount of 40% off lenses with a purchase of any frame.
