Winn-Dixie offering online grocery ordering, delivery to Louisiana

Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of Winn-Dixie and several other banners, announced that online grocery ordering and delivery is now available for those in Louisiana, thanks to a partnership with Instacart and Shipt.

“We are always looking for additional opportunities to meet the evolving needs of our customers in each community we serve. As we embrace digital advancements, we are excited to expand our e-commence partnerships to offer added conveniences for Louisiana shoppers,” Andrew Nadin, EVP and chief customer officer for Southeastern Grocers, said. “Partnering with marketplace leaders will provide our customers with simple options for the same quality products and value, which will help make their lives a little easier.”

Winn-Dixie customers in the area can place orders for an assortment of such groceries as fresh produce, meat, seafood, health and beauty goods, and pet products, as well as and household staples at the same price of purchasing them in the store, the company said.

Locations in Louisiana offering the service include those in Baton Rouge, Covington, Mandeville, New Orleans, Slidell and Westbank among others.
