Xiromed is introducing Ramelteon Tablets, 8 mg, which is the generic of Takeda's Rozerem.
The medication is used for the treatment of insomnia characterized by difficulty with sleep onset.

Xiromed’s product will be available in 30-count and 100-count bottles.

Annual sales for Rozerem and its generics for the 12-month period ending in July, 2023 were $21.4 million, per IQVIA.
