Zydus Cadila obtains FDA OK for generic Trintellix
Zydus Cadila's generic Trintellix tablets provide a treatment for depression.
Zydus Cadila has received permission from the Food and Drug Administration for vortioxetine tablets in dosage strengths of 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg.
The medication is the generic of Trintellix tablets.
It is used to treat depression.

The medication works by helping to restore the balance of a certain natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. Vortioxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and serotonin receptor modulator.
Zydus Cadila's generic Trintellix tablets will be manufactured at the group’s formulation manufacturing facility in SEZ, Ahmedabad.
