Brickman hired as chief strategy officer at Kimberly-Clark

DALLAS Kimberly-Clark, whose brands include Kotex and Huggies, has named Christian Brickman as chief strategy officer, reporting to chairman and chief executive officer Thomas Falk. His appointment is effective Sept. 1.

Brickman will lead the development and monitoring of the company’s strategic plans and processes to enhance the company’s enterprise growth initiatives.

Brickman is currently a principal in McKinsey & Company’s Dallas office and a leader in the firm’s consumer packaged good and operations practices.

Before joining McKinsey, Brickman was president and chief executive officer of Whitlock Packaging, a non-carbonated beverage co-packaging company in the United States. From 1994 to 1998, he was with Guinness/United Distillers initially as vice president of strategic planning and then as vice president and general manager for Guinness Brewing Worldwide’s Latin America region. His previous experiences include serving as managing consultant for CSC Index Consulting and as marketing director for Aspartame at the NutraSweet Company.
