Cloyd to retire as P&G technology officer
CINCINNATI Procter & Gamble has announced the retirement of G. Gilbert Cloyd, chief technology officer.
Cloyd will retire effective Sept. 1, 2008, after more than 33 years of service. Until that time, effective June 1, Cloyd will be named officer on special assignment, reporting to A.G. Lafley, chairman and chief executive officer.
Effective June 1, Bruce Brown, current vice president of research and development of Global Hair Care and Global Hair Colorants, will be elected chief technology officer. Brown will report to Robert McDonald, chief operating officer.
