Colgate introduces new Total Daily Repair Toothpaste

NEW YORK — Colgate introduced a new toothpaste that helps reverse early damage to teeth and gums on Thursday.

"Many consumers wait until they see visible signs of teeth and gum damage before they act," Philip Durocher, VP and general manager of U.S. oral care marketing for Colgate-Palmolive, said.

Colgate Total Daily Repair Toothpaste, which contains a multi-active formula that re-mineralizes weakened enamel and kills bacteria that cause gingivitis, helps consumers undo this damage. In addition to protecting against cavities, plaque and tartar, the toothpaste also whitens teeth and freshens breath.
