Colgate, MySpace team up to find fresh voices

3/27/2008

NEW YORK Colgate-Palmolive, the makers of Colgate Max Fresh toothpaste, has teamed up with MySpace TV to find fresh new singing talent.

Now through April 14, singers nationwide can showcase their vocal talent online in the “Max Fresh Video Music Competition” by uploading video auditions at www.myspace.com/colgatemaxfresh. Eligible contestants must submit a track from the contest’s list of 15 contemporary songs in order to qualify.

Finalists will be judged by a celebrity panel featuring Grammy award-winning songwriter and producer Bryan-Michael Cox, Tito el Bambino, Latin singer/songwriter, and Danyel Smith, editor in chief of Vibe magazine.

The winner will participate in a recording session and video production, featuring an original song written and produced by Cox, and the opportunity to perform their song at the All-Access Lounge, the pre-party to Z100 FM's Jingle Ball in New York.
