Cosmetic Promotions appoints new VP of sales

10/31/2018
Cosmetic Promotions has a new addition to its leadership team.

The Winter Park. Fla.-based company announced that Tracie Gilbert would be taking over the vice president of sales role.

Gilbert’s primary responsibility will be establishing, enhancing and managing chain relationships, as well as managing both the national sales managers and regional accounts team, the company said.

“Tracie was one of my very first hires and has been with us for 19 years. In the beginning, it was just the two of us; we were so small, we had to collate product kits in the garage and living room,” Cosmetic Promotions’ CEO and founder Joann Marks said. “Tracie helped mold this company into what it is today, and we are delighted she has agreed to take on this new challenge.”

Gilbert joined Cosmetic Promotions in 1999 after graduating from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in business administration and marketing. She built and lead the company’s CosPro unit, and after five years assumed management of the CVS and Rite Aid accounts.

“She constantly works to grow these programs in a way that is controllable and beneficial for the company, as well as our clients. She takes pride in owning each project and making it turnkey for her customers,” Marks said. “Tracie is incredibly organized and detail oriented. She is a great partner to complement and balance the creative side of this company. We rely on her to keep us on track and accountable.”
