Edgewell Personal Care names COO

ST. LOUIS — Edgewell Personal Care on Tuesday announced the appointment of Colin Hutchison to the role of COO. In his new role, Hutchison, who was most recently the company’s VP commercial international, will lead the Edgewell’s global business strategy and head up its global commercial marketing and operations organizations. He will report directly to chairman, CEO and president David Hatfield.

Hutchison has nearly 30 years in in CPG operational and leadership roles, including 13 years at Edgewell. He has been responsible for the company’s operations in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions as VP commercial international, during which time the business has expanded, the company said. Before his most recent role, Hutchison led Edgewell’s global private-label wet shave business, reshaping the portfolio and planning for growth through expanded distribution and product development.
