Eucerin commences Skin First Movement
WILTON, Conn. — Beiersdorf's Eucerin skin care brand is embarking on a year-long Skin First Movement to help educate women across the country on the importance of skin health as part of overall wellness.
As part of the effort, the brand has joined forces with its first-ever Skin First ambassador, food writer and founder of Apartment Therapy's TheKitchn.com, Sara Kate Gillingham-Ryan.
Eucerin also will partner with "Live! with Regis and Kelly" for this spring's Run Across America with Dean Karnazes. Ultra-marathoner Karnazes will run nearly 3,000 miles across the country from California to the "Live! with Regis and Kelly" studio in New York. Additionally, Gillingham-Ryan will be on hand at the Eucerin SkinFirst Express to join Karnazes in select cities across the United States.
The Eucerin SkinFirst Express is an interactive mobile experience that will serve as a brand icon, where visitors will be invited to take the Skin First Pledge, receive product samples, create video blogs and learn about the Eucerin product assortment. In select cities, Eucerin also will have a dermatologist on board to provide skin consultations.
As a blogger and writer, Gillingham-Ryan will be sharing skin care tips and insights from all over the United States as she spreads the mission of the Skin First Movement and joins Eucerin's Skin First Council. The Movement continues with the Eucerin SkinFirst Express making a stop in Albuquerque, N.M., on March 17.
The Eucerin Skin First Movement began in 2010 with the Skin First Pledge and since has grown to become a nationwide experiential movement. To date, more than 100,000 people have pledged to put the health of their skin first.
