Former Coty exec George Cleary takes helm at Iluminage Beauty

NEW YORK — Former Coty executive George Cleary has joined Iluminage Beauty as the company's new CEO.

Prior to joining Iluminage Beauty, Cleary served as president of Coty Beauty Americas. Cleary's focus on innovation, strategic acquisitions and integrated marketing programs led Coty to become one of the fastest-growing beauty companies in the industry. Before joining Coty, Cleary spent 15 years with Johnson & Johnson, where he held general management and senior sales roles. While at Johnson & Johnson, Cleary made a significant contribution to the success of the Aveeno, Clean & Clear and ROC skin care brands. Cleary began his career in sales and trade marketing with the Nestle Food Co.



Iluminage Beauty is a joint venture between Unilever Ventures and Syneron Medical. Iluminage Beauty markets the iluminage Skin Smoothing Laser, the first at-home laser device FDA-cleared to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes and mouth; iluminage TOUCH, an at-home hair removal device; iluminage Skin Rejuvenating Pillowcase with Copper Oxide, an overnight anti-aging treatment; and the iluminage Youth Cell Skincare line. The company also markets the me smooth hair removal and Tanda LED light therapy devices.
