FT. WORTH, Texas — Galderma Laboratories on Tuesday launched the nationwide availability of Benzac Skin Refining Mask and Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser.
The new products are part of the the Benzac Acne Solutions product line, which contains clinically-proven ingredients to treat and prevent acne, the company said.
“The addition of Benzac Skin Refining Mask and Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser allows teens to customize a highly effective skincare regimen that quickly clears up mild-to-moderate acne and helps keeps it from coming back,” dermatologist and Galderma spokesperson Dr. Dendy Engelman said. “Unlike some acne treatments that can be harsh on the teenager’s skin, Benzac’s salicylic acid products don’t cause harsh irritation and dryness and leave skin smooth and luminous.”
Benzac Skin Refining Mask exfoliates the skin with active ingredient salicylic acid, and removes excess oil and reduce swellings and redness with East Indian sandalwood oil and French clay.
Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser removes excess oil, eliminates most acne blemishes and helps prevent new pimples from forming, according to the company. It contains 2.6% benzoyl peroxide, an antibacterial acne-fighting ingredient. The product is designed for normal to oily skin, as an alternative to Benzac Skin Balancing Foaming Cleanser.

Two weeks after using the Benzac Skin Refining Mask and Benzac Complete Acne Solution regimen, 93% of users reported an improvement in their acne.
Benzac Acne Solutions products do not clog pores, are free of artificial fragrances and dyes, and are not tested on animals, the company said.Product cartons are 100% recyclable, and the East Indian sandalwood oil is sustainably sourced.
